Oti Mabuse, Ant and Dec among stars in Bridget Jones parody for Comic Relief

Strictly solo and wailing into her water bottle mic, dancer Oti Mabuse don’t wanna be all by herself. And she’s not the only one...

The dancer is among a host of celebs parodying the Bridget Jones All By Myself moment in a video for tonight’s Comic Relief TV marathon.

Our exclusive peek shows Ant & Dec, Friends actor David Schwimmer, Mel Giedroyc, Loose Women’s Judi Love and Sophie Ellis-Bextor lip-syncing to Jamie O’Neal’s version of the pained power ballad.

The song featured in the film with Renee Zellweger as a wine-guzzling, fag-smoking Bridget singing along in her Christmas PJs.

TV host Mel – in identical festive jim-jams and with tissue stuffed up her nose – starts the spoof before it cuts to stars in dismay.

Schwimmer points wistfully to a graffiti heart before curling up on a New York pavement, while Sophie Ellis-Bextor sobs in her glittery kitchen disco and Ant & Dec give it the full-on, clenched-fist treatment.

Comedians David Walliams, Keith Lemon and Romesh Ranganathan, actress Emily Atack and puppets Basil Brush and Hacker T Dog also feature.

The night of telly is hosted by Alesha Dixon, David Tennant, Davina McCall, Paddy McGuinness and Sir Lenny Henry.

Other highlights include 2020: The Movie, dubbed the biggest blockbuster never made with Keira Knightley, Michael Sheen and KSI, and a comic opera with Charlotte Church.
