Note to Drue Chrisman — get used to your future wife talking you into mulligans in life. It’s just how it goes. And it appears as though the Ohio State punter already has the response down, agreeing to a do-over field goal attempt for the one he halted to offer up a marriage proposal.
Avery Eliason said yes to Chrisman at the annual LifeSports Spring Game, and did it in front of over 60,000 close friends in the ‘Shoe. It will no doubt be a memory that lasts a lifetime. BUT … it appears as though the future Mrs. bottle-flipper wanted to attempt that kick that never occurred because Chrisman posted a video of her attempting to make good on a second chance.
It did not go well.
Watch as the snap and hold is good, and as Eliason approaches, plants, and kicks the football right through the right butt-cheek of the snapper who shall remain faceless and nameless.
Of course she would respond in-kind to the Tweet. Get used to that too Drue. Seriously though, good luck on a life together Drue and Avery. Just don’t let Avery enter any FG kicking contests in the near future.
