It’s pretty cool when one of the locals gets to be a part of national team pride and all that goes with that experience. That’s exactly what has happened to Ohio State men’s hockey assistant coach Steve Miller according to a release from the University.
For the fourth consecutive year, Miller will be joining the staff of the U.S. National Junior team as an assistant.
“It’s an honor to once again be asked to be a part of the USA Hockey coaching staff and to get the opportunity to compete in one of the most prestigious hockey tournaments,” Miller said. “We are looking forward to the great challenge that lays ahead of us.”
The U.S. National Junior Team will take part in the 2020 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Ostrava and Trinec, Czech Republic.
We’ll all be rooting for him, and for Team USA.
