Adam Beard and Owen Watkin both start for the Ospreys when they face Ulster in Saturday’s Guinness PRO14 encounter at the Liberty Stadium (5.15pm).
The pair were released back for the weekend by Wales coach Wayne Pivac ahead of the Six Nations game with France on February 22.
They will both be looking to prove points to the New Zealander ahead of selection for the date with the French.
Nicky Smith and Aled Davies, both excluded from Pivac’s squad for the championship, will also be keen to send messages Pivac's way.
But, more than anything, the Ospreys will want a solid team performance.
Watkin, available again after recovering from knee surgery, features in a new-look centre partnership with the fit-again Kieran Williams. The Ospreys will hope the hard-running pair can give them go-forward behind the scrum in a back line that’s denied the services of George North and the injured Dan Evans, Keelan Giles and Scott Williams.
Watkins makes his 50th appearance for the region, while Hanno Dirksen runs out for his 150th Ospreys outing.
By contrast, Simon Gardiner will start for the first time for the Liberty team, with Ma’afu Fia and Tom Botha injured.
Gareth Evans is available again after time on the sidelines and he figures alongside Dan Lydiate and Olly Cracknell in the back row.
The Ospreys will be aiming to arrest a run of 13 straight defeats, while Ulster will arrive in second place in Conference A, having won seven out of 10 league games this season.
