Ospreys take to social media to continue trolling Cardiff Blues after Gareth Anscombe storm

Ospreys have taken to social media to brutally troll Cardiff Blues ahead of the derby clash between the sides later this month.

The capital region were less than impressed after an advert displayed on an electronic board outside their Arms Park home featured an image of Gareth Anscombe along with the words "Ospreylian and proud".

The Wales international - who is currently sidelined with a knee injury - left Cardiff Blues to join the Liberty Stadium outfit in the summer.

And it's understood the Arms Park outfit lodged a complaint to the media company that organised the ad.

But in a new twist, the Ospreys took to Twitter to have a fresh dig at their Welsh rivals.

On their official account, the Ospreys mocked up a fresh image - similar to the original Anscombe ad - only this time to include former Cardiff Blues forward Bradley Davies, now at the Ospreys.

It included the tagline "He's also Ospreylian and proud".

It was accompanied with the caption: "We’ve listened to the feedback regarding the billboard advertising the @CardiffBlues match, so we have amended the graphic accordingly. Hapus?"

Davies spent eight years in the Welsh capital before joining the Ospreys in 2016 after a two-year stint with Wasps.

The two sides meet at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, December 21.
