Osman Sow wanted by Kilmarnock as Dundee United striker targeted by Angelo Alessio

Kilmarnock are keen on Dundee United striker Osman Sow.

The Ayrshire club are keen to add more firepower to their squad and want to land the former Hearts frontman.

Sow moved to Tannadice in January from MK Dons but has only just recovered from an ankle problem and is now behind top scorer Lawrence Shankland.

That has alerted Angelo Alessio who is trying to land him before tonight’s deadline.

The Italian wants another striker to take some of the pressure off the shoulders of Eamonn Brophy.

Kilmarnock are also keen on a move for Wolves defender Connor Johnson.

Bolton were also keen on a move for Alex Bruce but Kilmarnock refused to let him go today after they had released Kirk Broadfoot.

The English club, meanwhile, earlier today signed former Hamilton star Ali Crawford.
