Oscars viewers left in stitches at Idina Menzel's unimpressed face during Eminem's performance

The Oscars was in a nostalgic mood tonight when Eminem gave a performance of his 2002 hit Lose Yourself.

But viewers were left in stitches when they saw the reactions of the famous audience members during the show, especially Idina Menzel's.

The Frozen actress scowled as he rapped along to his track, seemingly not enjoying it.

And viewers took to Twitter to point out her reaction, with one tweeting: "Idina Menzel looks SO confused by Eminem performing at #Oscars2020."

"Mood: Idina Menzel watching Eminem’s performance at the #Oscars," another posted.

A third wrote: "Idina Menzel at the Oscars during Eminem’s performance is my whole mood."

"I *was* Idina Menzel during that performance," another said.

Another agreed: "Idina Menzel’s reaction has been the best thing about the Oscars."

Eminem's seemingly random performance followed a montage of memorable music moments in films.

Lose Yourself won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2003, the first rap song do so.

Eminem didn't attend the ceremony because he didn't think he would win.

It was the first time in 14 years the winner of the award didn't perform the song on the night.

Nominated for Best Picture tonight is Ford v Ferrari, The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Joker, Little Women, Marriage Story, 1917, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Parasite.

The Best Actor nominees are Antonio Banderas, Leonardo DiCaprio for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Adam Driver for Marriage Story, Joaquin Phoenix for Joker and Jonathan Pryce for The Two Popes.

Those up for Best Actress is Cynthia Erivo for Harriet, Scarlett Johansson for Marriage Story, Saoirse Ronan for Little Women, Charlize Theron for Bombshell and Renée Zellweger for Judy.
