Oscars outrageous outfits - Forget Will Smith, celebrities bringing scandal on red carpet

There was side-boob, under-boob, tiny shorts and frills galore on the red carpet on Oscars night.

While some stars at last night's Academy Awards in Los Angeles looked fabulous as they stuck with classic Hollywood glamour, others were more daring, with many not afraid to bare the flesh.

We've taken a look at the most outrageous outfits from last night's awards, as well as the Vanity Fair afterparty and Elton John's annual Oscars viewing bash.

Kristen Stewart is known for being a risk taker on the red carpet and the Oscar nominee looked incredible as she rocked a pair of tiny black shorts and a white shirt, unbuttoned to her navel.

The Twilight actress, nominated for her role in Spencer, paired the shirt and shorts with a black tuxedo jacket and a long necklace.

She finished the look with a pair of black high heels, which made her toned legs look even longer.

Actor Timothee Chalamet cut a bold figure, as like Kristen, he bared his chest, wearing just a black lace embroidered jacket on top, pair with a silver pendant.

The Dune actor wore fitted, ankle length trousers and shiny black boots to complement jacket.

Rapper Saweetie looked stunning as she wore a cut-out gown which exposed plenty of under-boob and her midriff, at Elton John's AIDS Foundation's viewing party.

The star oozed confidence as the dress showed off her assets. She kept her jewellery simple, with gold hoop earrings, and her hair in a coiffed up-do.

Cut-out dresses were a theme of the night, as singer Janelle Monae showed off her incredible figure in a black gown.

The dress had cut-outs throughout, leaving Janelle's under-boob, toned midriff and legs exposed.

Janelle and Saweetie were not the only stars putting on chesty displays. Tracee Ellis Ross looked fabulous in a red tight fitting gown with a plunging neckline, which may have left some worried she might suffer a wardrobe malfunction at any moment.

She teamed the show-stopping dress with a choker and red lipstick.

Model Emily Ratajkowski, who is known for her revealing looks, put on a busty display also at the Vanity Fair afterparty.

From barely-there fabric to layers and layers of it. Acclaimed singer Billie Eilish cut a memorable figure in a black ruffled, off-the-shoulder dress, with a train that pooled at the bottom.

Swedish make-up artist Eva Von Bahr's outfit will surely be remembered by all her saw it. Eva wore a gown which featured a Renaissance-style painting on the skirt.

She teamed it with a handbag that was shaped like the bust of a classic statue.

Fellow make-up artist Julia Vernon also caught the eye with her bold punk look. Julia wore a ruffled, tulle purple dress, with leggings and chunky boots as she walked the Oscars red carpet.
