Oscars 2020 – LIVE: Parasite wins best international feature film

The 92nd Academy Awards have begun at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. 

Brad Pitt took the first prize of the night by being crowned Best Supporting Actor for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood.

The film industry's biggest stars have gathered at the ceremony to see who will win the film industry’s most coveted prizes, from Best Actor to the biggest award of the night, Best Picture.

Hildur Guðnadóttir has had a very successful awards season for her work on Joker.
And the Oscar goes to... Joker's Hildur Guðnadóttir!
The nominees are Joker, Little Women, Marriage Story, 1917, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Tonight, for the first time, a female conductor is leading the performance of this year's Best Original Score nominees.
"The three of us make a powerful combination," says Weaver – and it's hard to argue against that.
Gal Gadot, Sigourney Weaver and Brie Larson are taking the stage.

Elton John is now performing "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" from Rocketman. The tune is nominated for Best Original Song.
Bong Joon Ho says he's happy the name of the award has changed from Best Foreign Language Film to Best International Feature Film.
The other nominees were Les Misérables, Honeyland, Corpus Christi, and Pain and Glory.
And the Oscar goes to... Parasite!
Penélope Cruz is presenting the Oscar for Best International Feature Film.
Kazu Hiro, Anne Morgan and Vivian Baker are accepting the award.
And the Oscar goes to... Bombshell!
Ray Romano and Sandra Oh are presenting the award for Make-Up and Hairstyling. The nominees are Bombshell, Joker, Judy, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and 1917.
Guillaume Rocheron, Greg Butler and Dominic Tuohy are accepting the award.
And the Oscar goes to... 1917!
Corden and Wilson are presenting the Oscar for Visual Effects. The nominees are The Lion King, 1917, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Irishman, and Avengers: Endgame.

Among this year’s nominees are Joaquin Phoenix, widely tipped as the Best Actor favourite for his performance in Todd PhillipsJoker, and Brad Pitt, who could win his first-ever acting Oscar for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Meanwhile, Sam Mendes and his war epic1917are the hot favourites for Best Director and Best Picture, respectively, after the film swept both the Baftas and the Golden Globes. 

If you're watching from home, there are plenty of ways you can keep up with all the action on TV and online.

The evening will be broadcast live on ABC in the US and on NOW TV and Sky in the UK.

Sky Cinema will air for the entire evening, beginning at 10pm in the UK with red carpet arrivals. The ceremony itself will start around 1am GMT.

For US viewers, the Oscars will be available to watch on ABC with red carpet coverage kicking off at 5pm PT/ 8pm ET.
