Oscars 2019 red carpet: The best dressed celebrities from Olivia Colman to Lady Gaga

Hollywood has rolled out the red carpet for the 91st Academy Awards.

On Sunday 24 February, the Oscars will mark the grand finale of award season, giving members of the film industry one last chance to scoop the most coveted awards in the business and show off their sartorial prowess'

While the night is all about celebrating cinematographic talent and ingenuity, it's the fashion that often takes centre stage and with the likes of Lady Gaga, Emma Stone and Olivia Colman in attendance, you can expect to see some incredible looks.

Last year, the red carpet experienced a seismic shift with many of Hollywood’s stars coming together in support of the Time's Up movement via all-black ensembles at the Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

While no such dress code was enforced at the Oscars, with organisers instead advocating style autonomy, a number of stars showed their support by wearing Time's Up pins and others, like Frances McDormand made political statements in their winning speeches.

For 2019, the Academy Awards red carpet continues to serve as a global platform for both designers and actors to showcase their creative talent.

But, who will have the look that everyone is talking about for days, weeks, and even years to come?
