Oscar-winning movie producer Lord David Puttman is giving a free talk in Dublin's RDS this month.
The man behind Chariots of Fire, which won the 1982 Academy Award for Best Picture, is Ireland’s first Digital Champion.
Also a member of the UK House of Lords, he will draw from his experiences as a policy maker, film-maker and educator to share his vision for Ireland over the next decade.
When is Dubliner John Sheahan coming to Vicar Street and how can I get tickets?
The movie maker will offer his thoughts on the challenges and opportunities facing Ireland and how new ideas, advances in technology, education, and changes in culture, will shape the next decade.
In particular, he will focus on the importance of enhancing our digital infrastructure and what it can mean for Ireland.
The talk will be followed by an informal Q&A session.
This is the third talk in the RDS Vision 2030 business breakfast series.
It takes place on Tuesday 28 May from 7.30am – 9am in the RDS Library and is free to attend.
