- Wintour, though raised in London, has maternal grandmother roots in Pennsylvania, while Streep was born and raised in New Jersey.
- Streep is set to reprise her iconic role as Miranda Priestly, a character famously inspired by Wintour, in the upcoming film 'The Devil Wears Prada 2', due out on 1 May.
