May 03--Like the rest of the boxing world, Oscar De La Hoya was looking forward to Saturday's long-anticipated title fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
Unfortunately, the action didn't live up to its billing as Mayweather took a measured approach by jabbing his way to a unanimous decision over Pacquiao to remain undefeated at 48-0.
There were plenty of boxing fans who were disappointed by the match -- and De La Hoya was among them.
Sorry boxing fans.

Call me old school but I like the fans getting their money's worth by watching an action packed fight.

Im just not into the boxing, running style. I like jumping out of my seat because a fight was existing and the fans got their money's worth.

De La Hoya wasn't the only one lamenting the show Mayweather and Pacquiao put on:
We waited 5 years for that... #underwhelmed #MayPac

And it seems as though De La Hoya still thinks Julio Cesar Chavez is greater than Mayweather or Pacquiao:
I guess I'm just spoiled by what this man did.
