Osaka infections surpass 200 for 1st time

A record high of about 220 people in Osaka Prefecture were confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus on Wednesday.

It was the first time that the number of infected people in the prefecture has exceeded 200 in day, far surpassing the previous high of 155 on Tuesday.
