The City of Orlando has begun releasing the names of the victims killed at mass shooting at an LGBT nightclub on Sunday.
Fifty people were killed and 53 were wounded when 29-year-old Omar Mir Seddique Mateen opened fire in the nightclub. Mateen was later killed while exchanging gunfire with police.
“On this very difficult day, we offer heartfelt condolences to today’s victims and their families,” officials said in a statement. “Our City is working tirelessly to get as much information out to the families so they can begin the grieving process. Please keep the following individuals in your thoughts and prayers."
