With Golden State’s 2019-20 campaign officially over, Dub Nation will have the opportunity to catch up with former members of the Warriors in the NBA’s Restart. Twelve players that suited up in blue, white and yellow in the past will take the court at Disney World.
As the Warriors begin their extended offseason, Warriors Wire is highlighting former Dubs in the Orlando Bubble.
On Sunday, a pair of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green’s former teammates suited up for the Sacramento Kings. In their second game of the seeding round, the Kings matched up with Markelle Fultz and the Orlando Magic.
Former Warrior Harrison Barnes got the nod for Luke Walton’s starting lineup, scoring 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting in 24 minutes. The veteran forward added six boards for Sacramento. In 18 minutes off the bench, Kent Bazemore tallied eight points, three assists and a rebound in his second Orlando Bubble performance.
The Magic jumped out to a steady lead in the first quarter to set up a comfortable cruise to victory, 132-116. Terrence Ross led the Magic with 25 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Ross was one of three members of the Magic to record 22 points or more against the Kings. All-Star big Nikola Vucevic punched a double-digit effort with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Bay Area native Aaron Gordon added 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field.
Barnes and Bazemore will be back on the floor when the Kings square off with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
Other former members of the Golden State Warriors inside the Orlando Bubble include Andre Iguodala, Alec Burks, JaVale McGee, Glenn Robinson III, Quinn Cook, Jamal Crawford, Anthony Tolliver, Patrick McCaw, Chris Boucher and Marco Belinelli.
