While Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green begin the Golden State Warriors’ extended offseason on the outside of the Orlando Bubble, a group of their former teammates are on the floor at Disney World.
As the league pushes through their second wave of games in the seeding round, Warriors Wire is checking in on former Dubs at Disney World. On Monday, a pair of the Splash Brother’s former teammates suited up alongside LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Against the Utah Jazz, JaVale McGee got the nod in Frank Vogel’s starting lineup. The former Golden State big went scoreless from the field with a lone board in 14 minutes for the Lakers. McGee wasn’t the only former member of Golden State to go without scoring. Ex-Warriors guard Quinn Cook didn’t score in two minutes of playing time for Los Angeles.
Anthony Davis helped push the Lakers to victory against the Jazz, 116-108. As the Lakers secured the top seed in the Western Conference, the Kentucky Wildcats product tallied 42 points on 13-of-28 shooting with four 3-pointers coming from long distance. To complete his double-double, Davis added 12 rebounds along with four assists, three steals and a block.
The Lakers will now wait for the bottom of the Western Conference playoff picture to round out in the seeding games before finding out whom they’ll face in the first round of the postseason.

McGee, Cook and the Lakers will be back on the court on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Other former members of the Golden State Warriors inside the Orlando Bubble include Alec Burks, Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Glenn Robinson III, Kent Bazemore, Jamal Crawford, Anthony Tolliver and Marco Belinelli.
