Orlando Bloom has spoken candidly about his relationship with singer Katy Perry and their future plans - and it includes having children.
The actor, 42, who shares a son Flynn, eight, with his ex wife Miranda Kerr, has lifted the lid on his romance with his fiancée Katy, 35, and how their relationship is a success because of their ability to "compromise" and "communicate."
Addressing what is ahead for him and his soon to be wife, the star told Man About Town: "I really want to enjoy family and friends, my beautiful son, and have more kids."
Making his intentions clear, he added: "I want to make sure when I embark on that, it’s with my heart full and very clear about the reality of what that means, as opposed to some romantic idea of what it means to be in a relationship.
"Because I think when you’re younger, we’ve all been sold this Hollywood idea of love and relationships, marriage and kids, and actually, what it really takes is communication and compromise, so life looks like somebody who’s willing to communicate and find joy in the simple and small moments."
British Orlando has previously gushed that his romance with American Katy "will be forever" which he credits to his previous marriage that ended in 2013.
Previously speaking to Willie Geist on NBC's Sunday Today Orlando opened up about his feelings for Katy and why their engagement is only heading to a 'happy ever after'..
Orlando says: "It's important to me that we are aligned. I've been married and divorced and I don't want do it again... and we're both fully aware of that.
"She's remarkable and so I'm always so impressed with that and I'm encouraged."
Katy and Orlando took the next step in their relationship when Orlando proposed on Valentine's Day.
The Roar singer confirmed the happy news with a post on Instagram , showing off the massive ruby sparkler on her wedding finger.
She captioned it: "Full Bloom"
The couple have been dating since early 2016, after Katy's divorce from Russell Brand.
