Orioles vs. Red Sox: How to watch the MLB Opening Day game

The Boston Red Sox will take on the Baltimore Orioles on Monday in their fan-less Opening Day showdown. (Opening Day was also last night, and today, and tomorrow, because baseball.)

What’s nice: Fans across the country will be able to watch the game, even if they don’t pay for an expensive package that lets them get local network packages no matter where they are.

The game will be available on NESN for New England subscribers, MASN for mid-Atlantic viewers, but it will also be available nationally on ESPN+ for fans all over the country.

ESPN+ is just $4.99 a month, a good deal compared to normal out-of-market baseball packages. (Though if you really want to watch every Sox or Orioles game elsewhere in the country, you really should spring for the MLB.tv package.)

Anyway, here are the details for tonight:

Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles

When: Friday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET
