Orioles closer Felix Bautista has the sickest new closer entrance with Omar’s whistle from ‘The Wire’

You knew when you heard the whistle, Omar’s was coming.

And now, when you hear the whistle at Camden Yards, you know that Felix Bautista is coming.

That’s right, the Baltimore Orioles are using the iconic Michael K. Williams whistle from The Wire as part of Bautista’s entrance when he comes into games. They’re also adding flashing lights, which is similarly menacing.

Will it someday find a spot on our all-time best MLB closer entrance songs list? Perhaps. It’s not anything like Edwin Diaz’s Narco entrance but it’s really good and a lot of MLB fans agreed when they saw it:
