An original of the iconic Trainspotting movie poster is being sold at auction.
The work, which features Robert Carlyle, Kelly Macdonald, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner and Ewan McGregor, has already pulled in a bid for as much as £800.
It is linen-backed and unfolded, and comes unframed. The seller describes it as being in "near mint condition, with the colours remaining very bright" – not bad considering it's now 23 years old.
Early estimates suggested the poster could fetch around £300 or £400 but that appears to have been quite conservative given the bids already made.
It is being auctioned off as part of the Sothesby's 'Original Film Posters Online' sale.
The poster was made to promote Danny Boyle's 1996 movie, based on the Irvine Welsh novel – and it features a five-star review from Empire who describe it as "toe-curlingly good".
The auction will be open from 23 August to 5 September.
