Matt Roberts is a jazz and funk trombonist. He has been playing in Beijing for many years and is one of the founders of Ah-Q Jazz Arkestra; Always bringing joy to the Ah-Q Jazz Arkestra, David Moser is a jazz musician, composer, host, and scholar, and he plays piano, the trumpet and guitar.
They’ve been playing live jazz in various formats and venues around Beijing for almost two decades. One of the things they love to do the most is to create new original jazz compositions and share them with audiences in Beijing. In this performance, they brought us a duet version of one of the band’s favorite originals written by keyboardist David Moser, entitled Jing.
