Order Liverpool ECHO special editions remembering Roger Hunt and honouring Mohamed Salah

The Liverpool ECHO is remembering Roger Hunt and honouring Mohamed Salah with special editions this week.

‘Sir Roger’ was an icon of Bill Shankly’s famous side during the 1960s, which brought two league titles and the Reds’ first-ever FA Cup back to Anfield.

He has sadly passed away at the age of 83.

Playing a vital role for England’s 1966 World Cup-winning side, Hunt scored three goals throughout the tournament and started in the 4-2 victory over West Germany in the final.

Knighted by the Kop for his achievements, he became the Liverpool 's all-time top goalscorer with 285. Though his record was eventually overtaken by Ian Rush, his total of 244 league goals remains unmatched

You can order our “Farewell to Roger Hunt” eight-page special here, or pick up a copy of the Sunday Echo this Sunday (3rd) for a copy of the special edition.

Mohamed Salah has just notched his landmark 100th Premier League goal for the Reds.

A 32-goal haul in his debut season was a sign of things to come and set the standards for Liverpool’s modern-day success under Jurgen Klopp.

Champions League glory and the Red’s first league title for 30 years soon followed, with the Egyptian forward now embarking on a rapid climb towards a possible double century.

Order our “Sal of the Century - Salah's Liverpool Premier League goals from 1 to 100” eight-page special here .

You can also pre-order a 48-page special celebration souvenir we are putting together on Salah here.
