A Hull‐based firm has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
Last October Christopher Fenton tweeted the former Dragon about his OctoVision Media Ltd entity as part of his ‘Small Business Sunday’ social media competition.
He was selected and had his profile shared to Paphitis’ followers, and has now met the small business champion.
Christopher said: “I’d seen the hashtag on Twitter and tweeted once before when I first started the business five years ago. I actually had this set in my calendar as a reminder to tweet. I knew it needed to be something special and knew the crazy Hull Fair 360 was the one to grab the attention and is a true ‘scroll stopper’.”
It is not the first success from the annual event, having been shortlisted in the British Photography Awards for a stunning drone shot of the Walton Street gathering.
It has led to hundreds more followers and extra orders for the video production business, based at C4DI.

Anyone looking for a retweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pmand include the hashtag #SBS.
Businesses are re‐tweeted every Monday at 8pm and then invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
