Orchard Primary pupils enjoy a superb day at first Autism Saturday club

Pupils at Orchard Primary School had a brilliant day at the first Autism Saturday club.

Run by the Language and Communication Support Centre (LCSC) group, the club runs from 12.30-2.30pm every Saturday at the Overtown school.

Kids have the opportunity to play on bouncy castles, sand pits and even get a snack to keep them going.

Running for the next two weeks, it is hoped that it will remain popular with kids over the festive period.

Lorna Sneddon is one of the teachers who have been help run the group.

She said: “It has been great so far and everyone has loved it.

“It gives parents a break and they know they are being looked after.

“The kids are in a familiar surrounding too.”
