A man armed with a suspected handgun robbed a shop in East Belfast .
The premises on Orangefield Lane was targeted after 5pm on Tuesday, April 23.
He threatened a staff member before making off with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

Detective Constable Austin said: "Shortly before 5:10pm, it was reported that a masked man entered a shop in the area armed with a suspected handgun. A male member of staff was threatened, with a quantity of cigarettes and a sum of cash was taken during the incident.
"The male member of staff was not injured during the incident, he was left badly shaken. The male made off on foot towards the roundabout at the North Road/Grand Parade/Bloomfield Road area following the incident.
"The male is described as being 6”2 in height, wearing a green hooded top and a balaclava and grey tracksuit bottoms. It is believed he was carrying a black holdall style bag during the incident.

"Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1061 23/04/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
