Netflix has ordered a fourth season of Orange Is the New Black to premiere in 2016, the online streaming company announced on Wednesday.

The announcement was made ahead of the 12 June premiere of Orange Is the New Black season three and includes a new clip from the upcoming season.

An earlier trailer for season three showed the return of beloved characters including Maritza, Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren and Alex Vause.

Uzo Aduba, who won an Emmy for her portrayal of Crazy Eyes, said on Wednesday morning that season four filming would start in June.

Orange Is the New Black has earned three Emmy awards since it premiered in July 2013 and has also been hailed for its politics, earning awards from the NAACP and LGBT media group GLAAD.

The series was adapted from Piper Kerman’s memoir of the same name, and Kerman has used the show’s popularity to highlight flaws in the US criminal justice system.
