Orange County reveal 'Rangers inspired' new strips as American side unveil partnership kit

American side Orange County have unveiled a Rangers -inspired strip to benefit workers battling the Covid pandemic.

The Ibrox club have been looking to boost their global profile and have been working alongside the United Soccer League side on several projects.

A club statement states that the a blue jersey with white shorts and blue socks combo with orange lettering and stripes are "inspired by our European partner Glasgow Rangers FC."

The Adidas kit will act as the third strip for the Western Conference campaign.

Each top sold will bare the Orange County Health Network 'Hoag' logo on the front of the kit.

For each jersey sold the club will provide two tickets to a Hoag Healthcare worker this season.

Jeff Garner, Orange County Soccer Club President of Business Operations. said: “In sports we are taught to focus on the name on the front of the jersey and not the name on the back.

“When looking back on the past year, we felt it was only right to take this opportunity to honour our partner Hoag and their employees for all they have done.”

The partnership has seen Steven Gerrard and Ross Wilson send academy trio Cammy Palmer, Daniel Finlayson and Matthew Shiels on loan Stateside and now the partnership has taken the next step

The youngsters have featured in a four part documentary on CBS covering Orange County.
