Oran Kearney has hailed the return of David McDaid to Coleraine as the striker penned a three-year deal with the club.
McDaid had a six-month spell at The Showgrounds back in 2014 before leaving to join Cliftonville.
After a one-year stay at Ballymena United the 32-year-old is back on the Ballycastle Road again in a deal which sees Alex Gawne move in the opposite direction, and Kearney believes the former Larne front man will be a big asset for the Bannsiders.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Davy back to Coleraine,” he said.
“We have mentioned before that we are going to have to be quite bespoke in terms of targets and Davy fits that bill.
“Matthew (Shevlin) had a cracking season for us and Davy will be able to provide that little bit of guile and I’m sure they will have a great partnership in attack.
“I still feel that Davy still has plenty left in the tank and his brain is his biggest asset.
“I have no doubt that he will continue to get better and better and we are looking forward to working with him once again.”
Coleraine have confirmed McDaid will wear the number 10 shirt next season.
