Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey have revealed that their recent television docuseries has been a work in progress for almost two years.
The 36-year-old Duke of Sussex, who is expecting his second child with Meghan Markle, spoke to the talk show queen a third time for the Apple+ TV series The Me You Can't See.
In the bonus episode, that was set up as a town hall discussion and released on Friday, the Royal and Oprah revealed that they had been planning the project since when they first met years earlier.
At the time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were yet to announce their departure from Royal duties or their move to California, United States.
During their latest discussion, Oprah explained at the start of the show that the duo were 'inspired' to create a discussion surrounding mental health and have been producing the series for two years.

"It's a project that we were inspired to produce after we first met, really, and talked about some of the most pressing issues of our time," Oprah explained at the start of the show.
She added: "So we spent two years making this series...together... I remember that chat very, very well all that time ago".
In his third appearance alongside Oprah, Harry opened up about his own mental health battle and also labelled the world as "depressing" for children to grow up in because of climate change and social media.
He also touched upon his experiences in the Royal family and about how he dealt with Meghan's suicidal thoughts.
Elsewhere in the episode, Harry and Oprah were also joined by several guests such as Glenn Close who spoke about their own experiences with mental health.
Harry and Oprah's latest interview came off the huge success of their earlier episode which aired on Apple+ TV.

Harry was one of several well-known faces that appeared on the series to discuss their experiences with mental health.
During the show, he candidly opened up about coming to terms with the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and even gave a demonstration of some of the methods he has used to help such as EDMR.
It comes months after Harry and Meghan sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an explosive first interview in which they opened up about their decision to step down from Royal duties.

At the time, the couple claimed that Meghan had been refused help by the royal family after revealing she was struggling with suicidal thoughts during her first pregnancy.
