More than 40 million voters may have had data stolen in potentially one of biggest data breaches in UK history.

The London-based elections watchdog has since issued an apology to the public, and has also created an FAQ webpage with details on the cyberattack and how the investigation has been handled.
In another major UK data breach, the Police Service of Northern Ireland has apologised for mistakenly revealing details of all its 10,000 staff. In response to a Freedom of Information request, the PSNI had unintentionally shared personal details of police and civilian personnel which were then published online, before being removed.
We’ve all heard about the benefits of getting at least 10,000 steps in a day in but it turns out that walking just 4,000 steps a day could reduce the risk of dying from heart diseases. Researchers also found that the risk of dying from any cause or from cardiovascular disease decreases significantly with every 500 to 1,000 extra steps a person walks.
