Operation Transformation leader Jean Tierney welcomed a newborn after her previous baby heartbreak.
The RTE star welcomed a little boy at the University Maternity Hospital Limerick on Wednesday morning.
The fantastic news comes after she opened up about having an ectopic pregnancy, losing baby daughter Sloane and suffering a miscarriage while on the reality show earlier this year.
The baby weighs 8lbs and mother and son are currently doing well following the delivery, RSVP Live reports.
Jean was forced to leave Operation Transformation after discovering she was seven weeks pregnant back in February.
Host Kathryn Thomas travelled to Limerick where Jean revealed that she was expecting again following her previous devastation of losing a child and pregnancy troubles in an emotional interview.
Opening up at the time, she said: "It is very early. While it is not the norm to be telling people before 12 weeks, we are telling people because there were two options on the programme. I could have disappeared from the show, but there would have been a lot of speculation or I don't know what and that would cause me a lot of stess."
Show expert Aoife Hearne adapted her diet and weight loss food plan for the early stages of pregnancy and, on medical advice, she was removed from the exercise plan.
Jean continued: "You almost should have felt ashamed if you're pregnant or if you have lost a child and we need to change that. We need to empower our youngsters to be confident in their bodies and be able to talk."
