Operation Jemlock police find huge haul of drugs ready for streets of Armley

Four men have been arrested in Leeds after they were found with a "large quantity" of white tablets.

West Yorkshire Police stopped and searched the men in the Armley area yesterday evening (May 4) at 9.30pm and they were found with the large quantity of tablets.

All four men were arrested for possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

Officers then posted this picture of the haul of drugs found on their Twitter account.

The arrests were made as a part of Operation Jemlock which focuses on tackling serious violent crime and knife enabled crime across West Yorkshire.

On a post submitted on twitter by WYP OpJemlock, they said: “Yesterday evening at 930pm, four males from #Leeds were stopped and searched in the #Armley area.

"A large quantity of white tablets were found and all four arrested for possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. #TacklingNotTolerating."
