Opera under the stars: Chorégies d'Orange celebrates 150th anniversary

Warm summer evenings mean music, dance, theatre and arts go outdoors, with a host of festivals using towns and cities as an open-air stage. France's Roman amphitheatre of Orange is just one of those evocative settings and provides a monumental stage for the "Chorégies d'Orange" festival. This year's highlights include a production of Mozart's "Don Giovanni", Rossini's "William Tell" and a star turn from baritone Placido Domingo. FRANCE 24's Clovis Casali went to check it out.

We also take a look at a city-wide contemporary art show in Nantes, and a music festival amid the cedar trees of Lebanon.
