As we do every week, we’ve got your first look at the opening line set by the popular BetMGM Sportsbook. This week Ohio State travels to Happy Valley for a prime time affair against the Nittany Lions on the road.
And yeah, the game has lost a little of its kick because Penn State lost a heartbreaking double OT game against Indiana in Bloomington on Saturday. Still though, PSU has been the one team that has played Ohio State as close as anyone over the last few years, mainly because the Nittany Lions are the closest in the talent department.
But don’t tell that to BetMGM. The site has Ohio State as a whopping -12.5 point favorite as it stands today. You have to think that if the game actually had fans and we were going to witness the nauseating scene of a whiteout again, that line would narrow, but that’s not the case with the Big Ten’s policy of having no fans at games.
