The opening date for a legendary Leeds chippy’s move to a new location has been revealed.
The Fishermans Wife, based in George Street, is leaving its home of over five decades to move inside Kirkgate Market.
The fish and chip shop’s new venue in the market’s popular food court is opening on Tuesday, September 17.
At the launch, there will be a special first day offer with visitors able to get a small fish and chips for just £1.
Also, the event will have a special guest with celebrity chef Brian Turner popping to the opening.
