The opening date for a new plant-based food venue in the city's south side has been revealed.
Vegan-friendly restaurant, The Now, are set to open their doors on Wednesday, December 4.
Signage which reads: "the now - plant based food which doesn't cost the earth" appeared over at the address last month, a short walk away from Cathcart train station.
As described on the venue's website, the new opening is "a dream that has been cooking for years", with the team saying: "Food is our reason for everything we do.
"We live and breathe it. We believe the best nights of our lives are shared with food and friends.
"We take our time experimenting with flavours and textures to make what we serve a flavour sensation. With our positive energy and dedication we pride ourselves in our approach to plant based foods that don't cost the earth."
The Now took to social media earlier today to confirm the opening date.
They wrote on Instagram: "Now the countdown is on! open wednesday!"
The website advises opening hours will be Tuesday to Sunday, 11am - 10pm - see you there, Glasgow?
