Greggs has revealed when its newest Bristol branch will open.
The on-the-go bakery will open in the new development just off Bath Road in Brislington.
A new Starbucks drive-thru was due to open in the development in March this year, but still lies vacant eight months on with an unknown opening date.
However the Greggs, which will create 12 new jobs, will open on Friday, December 13.
What will it offer?
As well as freshly baked pastries and sandwiches, customers will be able to enjoy Greggs’ new Christmas range, featuring new menu additions such as the Festive Bake, Christmas Lunch Sandwich, Pigs Under Blanket Baguette and the Christmas Lunch Soup.
The popular Mint Hot Chocolate is also making a return following its successful launch last year.
Breakfast will be served until 11am, featuring staple items such as bacon rolls, fresh fruit and a full range of freshly ground, Fairtrade coffee.
For those watching their calorie intake, the Balanced Choice range includes a selection of sandwiches, pasta salads, soups, drinks, porridge and fruit - all for fewer than 400 calories.
Annette Mitchell, shop manager at Brislington Greggs, said: "We can’t wait to open our doors and hear what the local community thinks.
"We hope customers enjoy the wide range of tasty items we have on offer."
The bakery's opening times will be 6.30am until 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am until 5.30pm on Sunday.
It is located at 821 Bath Road, Brislington, Bristol, BS4 5NL.
