Homeware retailer Dunelm has confirmed the opening date of its huge new North Staffordshire store.
The new branch has been built at Wolstanton Retail Park, in Newcastle-under-Lyme, next to fellow retailers M&S and Matalan.
The 34,000 sq ft store - which includes a Pausa Café, a standalone Dorma shop and the latest concept Made to Measure department -will be officially opened on Monday, April 12 when the next stage of the national lockdown restrictions are lifted.
It will initially accommodate a capacity of 102 shoppers until at least June 21 to enable visitors and staff to socially distance.
Gary Hay, store coach at Dunelm, said: "We’re very excited to be introducing our brand new Dunelm to Newcastle-under-Lyme.
"The team have been working so hard over the past few weeks to get everything set up in-store ahead of our grand opening, and are looking forward to meeting our lovely local community.
"With the additional introduction of the store's eco-friendly features, we are also immensely proud to be pioneering a more sustainable store. We look forward to welcoming everyone into our new home and hearing their feedback."
