Lidl's new supermarket at Castle Marina will open within the next few weeks, creating 40 new jobs.
The budget retail chain is opening inside the former PC World store which has been split into two units to accommodate both Lidl and PureGym.
The new store, in Castle Bridge Road, will open its doors for the first time on Thursday, June 13.
Customers are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8am.
The new supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing expansion and regeneration plans across the country.
Lidl's regional head of property, Dominic Bryan, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing this new Lidl store to Nottingham.
"It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community.”
