An opening date for Liverpool’s new Hollywood Bowl has been confirmed.
The new £2.8 million 10 pin bowling centre is opening at the New Mersey retail park in Speke, creating 30 new jobs. The venue is part of a multimillion redevelopment project at the retail park, which has also recently seen the opening of Ninja Warrior UK Liverpool and a new Pizza Express.
Hollywood Bowl is set to open on Friday, November 4 on the same stretch of the retail park, which is also home to a Cineworld Cinema, Wagamama, Nando’s and Zizzi. The centre will feature 16 bowling lanes, with high-tech scoring and wireless phone charges on all lanes. Inside there will also be an American style bar and diner featuring a selection of food and drinks, including hot dogs, burgers, shakes and signature cocktails.

To keep the competitive spirit going, Hollywood Bowl’s famous amusement area will offer leading games, such as Mario Kart as well as family favourites such as air hockey and racing games.

New Mersey has undergone a major refurbishment, which has been highly anticipated and represents a real milestone for the area.
“Hollywood Bowl has built a strong reputation for delivering affordable and exciting entertainment experiences across the UK and we can’t wait to welcome family and friends from across the city to have fun and make memories together in our new state of the art bowling centre just in time for the festive season, and we’re also taking bookings for Christmas parties.”

Hollywood Bowl Speke opens at New Mersey from November 4 and bookings are now being taken. Guests can also wear their own shoes to bowl in and are encouraged to pre-book their bowling experience in advance here.
