Scott Oglanian had Fish of the Year locked up in 2019 with an 8-pound, 10-ounce largemouth bass until Joe Capilupo caught the Illinois-record smallmouth bass.

Oglanian is just as good on ice. He caught and released this largemouth bass, estimated at 5 pounds, on Monday on northern Illinois waters
