Culture Night 2023 are calling on people or organisations who want be involved in the event which is taking place on September 22 to share their expressions of interest with their Local Authority Arts Office.

Culture Night takes place with individual workshops and events across Ireland in every region each year.

The popular event is described by organisers as: "One night for us all to come together for a shared experience celebrating the richness and diversity of culture, creativity and the arts from town to town, city to city and coast to coast. Each year Culture Night is made possible by the work put in by different artists, galleries, museums, workshops, sports clubs, libraries and more.

To take part all participants must be registered through their relevant arts office/local authority and uploaded to the national programme and website. Local arts offices oversee the organisation of the programme of events in each city and county across the country.

Event organisers are interested in: "Cultural events and activities that promote diversity and inclusion through the celebration of cultural diversity, both new and established and those that seek to create opportunities for participation with those who may not always have easy access to cultural events."

Check out the culture night website to get more information on how to be involved.
