One of Bristol's most popular restaurant groups has announced it is reopening for delivery.
The three branches of Oowee, including its vegan restaurant on Baldwin Street, will be available on Deliveroo from today (Friday, May 8) onwards.
Oowee's branches in Picton Street, Baldwin Street and North Street will all be offering a full menu, allowing dirty burger lovers to get their chops around some of the finest Bristol has to offer.
Strict social distancing measures will be in place to protect staff and customers from Covid-19, said a spokesperson.
Oowee's return was teased on Tuesday, with the announcement which was shared on its social media channels causing a huge amount of excitement.
All three of the group's restaurants will be open from Monday to Sunday, between midday and 10pm, except on Friday, May 8, when they will open at 5pm.
After launching their first restaurant on Picton Street in 2016, followed by two more sites in the city, Oowee owners Charlie and Verity were set to launch two restaurants in London before the pandemic hit the UK, which have both been put on hold for now.
The vegan offshoot of the brand has proved immensely popular, and is one of the most popular restaurants for Bristol's plant-based community.
Last year it earned three major awards in the space of just two weeks, including Restaurant of the Year at the inaugural Deliveroo Restaurant Awards and Best Vegan Food at Bristol Loves.
While in lockdown Charlie and Verity have been sharing videos on how to make some of Oowee's most popular burgers via a newly-launched Oowee Eats channel.
