A pizza oven that looks just like an Ooni version is on sale for a fraction of the price.
Ooni is famed for cooking perfect pizzas thanks to its high temperatures and sleek design but it also comes with a high price. The cheapest Ooni pizza oven is £249 for the 12-inch wood-fired Fyra model but prices can rise to as much as £600 for range-topping versions.
Rival pizza oven seller Vevor has revealed its own 12-inch wood-fired pizza oven for just £122.99, nearly half the price of the Ooni version.
The Vevor pizza oven looks a lot like the Ooni model with steel folding legs and a steel chimney vent. It was previously sold at £175.99 but has been reduced in a Spring sale. You can buy it here.
The oven can cook pizzas outdoors but can also act as a traditional oven to cook steak, chicken, sausage, and fish.
Vevor is not the only brand to offer cheaper versions of the Ooni ovens. Wowcher is selling an 11-inch wood-fired pizza oven for just £99. The square pizza oven is one of the cheapest on the market but the voucher site says stock is low.
Those who want to buy the official Ooni pizza oven could wait until the brand holds its sales events. On Black Friday and other sales periods the brand often cuts the price of ovens by 20%.
The cheapest oven in the sale is usually the Fyra 12 Wood Pellet Pizza Oven, which has previously bee reduced from £249 down to £199.
The Karu Multi-Fuel model typically gets reduced to £239, down from £299 and the Koda 12 gas powered oven is often the same price.
The deals undercut the likes of Amazon, which sells Ooni pizza ovens at full price.
