'Onto the next one': How the Bristol City fans reacted to Leeds United loss

Bristol City lost 1-0 at Elland Road today after a first half Luke Ayling goal.

Lee Johnson's side were on the back foot for much of the game, with Leeds hitting the bar and City keeper Dan Bentley having to make several good saves in the second half.

City had little sight of goal, with Jamie Paterson and Nahki Wells having the only real chances against Marcelo Bielsa's Whites.

However, thanks to results elsewhere, City fans are happy to move on and forget the win.

Preston, Fulham and Brentford all dropped points in the 3 o'clock kick offs, leaving the play off spaces wide open.

Several fans also praised Bentley for his performances, making two notebale saves against Helder Costa late on as Leeds looked to wrap up the win.

See how the Robins fans reacted below.

Daniel Bentley of Bristol City (Daniel Chesterton/JMP)

JH : Not much ground lost and that’s toughest fixture of the season out the way. Move on.

Alex : First half cost us.

Joe: Played ok, but Leeds were a class above. We go again.

Adam : Not the best performance against a top side, move on.

Elliot Cutler: We don’t deserve Dan Bentley.

Orlando : Well thank god other teams around us dropped points as well.

Tom Swash : Always gonna be a big ask with our record against Leeds. Some deluded city fans in meltdown once again. Onto the next one.

Gary Pearce : Good job we’ve got Bentley.

Sam : I mean we expected to lose, good news is that Leeds were the only team in the top 7 to win today.

Mike Bidgood : We got beat and yes we were out played but we are still very much in this for the play offs roll on next Saturday.

Mitchell Young: Anytime we play someone decent like Leeds/Brentford the gulf in class is massive.

Mike Tziorta: Weird performance. Weird starting line up.
