OnlyFans model rescued after falling ill while trekking to top of tallest mountain in lower 48 states

An OnlyFans model has been rescued after falling ill while trekking to the top of the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states.

The influencer, who goes by Kamryn Renae on social media, has been sharing her journey of hiking from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Kamryn took her 183,000 Instagram followers along as she attempted to summit Mount Whitney in a vlog posted on May 23.

Mount Whitney, located in Inyo County, California, is 14,505 feet above sea level.

Kamryn said the day started “really good.” She filmed herself putting on her makeup for the day while wearing pink and green hiking gear, including a hot pink ice ax.

The OnlyFans model said she first had to hike about 25 miles into the wilderness to get to the base of the mountain. Before starting her climb, Kamryn scooped up some water from a shallow body of water using a water filtration system.

“It was just so, so beautiful. When I was hiking up to the mountains, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this may be the best day of my life,’ because it was just so gorgeous,” Kamryn recalled.

Kamyrn admitted she didn’t have much experience climbing mountains, saying that she only summited one “much, much smaller” mountain before.

The influencer said things started to get “intense” during the hike.

“I was literally hiking on the snow that was completely slanted, so I'd be using my ice ax to help grip the snow, and then also…if I slipped or something, I could self-rescue with the ice ax,” she told her followers.

Kamryn said that when she started to feel ill, she decided to camp out about two miles away from the summit.

“I decided to set up my tent and just chill, and just try to relax as much as I could, and hopefully I’d feel better, and then continue in a little bit, but actually I just got worse and worse,” she said.

Kamryn said she started throwing up and called for help. She explained how she was too sick to climb back down the mountain, leaving her stranded until the following day.

“Luckily, the next day there was a group of hikers also summitting the mountain and ran into me on the top of the mountain and helped me get down,” the influencer said.

Kamryn was airlifted out of the mountains and taken to the hospital for treatment.

“I ended up just getting sick from a water source — just really bad timing, honestly,” she said.

The Independent has reached out to the National Park Service and the Inyo County Search and Rescue for comment on whether they were involved in Kamryn’s rescue.
