OnlyFans model forced to slash prices due to cost of living crisis

A popular OnlyFans model has spoken about she has had to lower her prices due to the cost of living crisis. Fenella Fox, 28, has become a big hit on the site thanks to her 'all-natural' look.

The brunette bombshell recently revealed to the Daily Star that her spending habits has seen her income drop to around $5k a month from $15,000 to $20,000 when compared to last summer. This meant she has had to change her pricing in order to adapt to the times, a business model she lives by in the content creation circuit.

Despite being pushed to lower her prices by the current climate, the former UWE Bristol student said that she has seen intense rent increases tried on by her accommodation - something she said felt "very unfair" on her and other residents, adding that it had been a "huge stress".

Speaking to GloucestershireLive , Fenella, from Worcester, said: "My accommodation tried to increase my rent (and everyone else's) recently, which has been a huge stress. The huge rental increases feel very unfair and seem to impact everyone. My building wanted to increase my rent (before bills) from £1800 a month to £2100 a month - It's a two bedroom apartment and paying £1800 already felt uncomfortably high!"

She added that she believed that as bills increased more people would be turning to OnlyFans in a bid to make money, potentially further saturating the market.

"Success [on OnlyFans] is all about adapting and keeping up with the times," Fenella explained. "I have to check the news daily to see what's going on in the world and how it may impact business.

"Tease content, like a video of me showering, doesn't sell as well and I now feel I need to make more hardcore content, like videos using sex toys, to get the most sales.

"It may look easy on the outside but there's a lot more work that goes into it than people may realise. I think as bills increase, more people will turn to the site to make money over the next few months."

When it comes to earnings, the businesswoman, who describes herself as "that hairy girl from the news", said that her page was "selling easily $40 a month (around £34.68) when she started in February 2020 - but now she has to "regularly put on $5 sales". A smart tip that she shared for those thinking of starting out was " avoiding rounded numbers like $10 and instead using $9 helps".
