'Only two points behind' - Arsenal and Spurs fans can't hide delight as Man City lose to Norwich

The Premier League has had its second big shock of the season.

Tottenham have already been upset at home to Newcastle United on the third weekend of the season and on Saturday we had another, even bigger upset.

Manchester City were beaten 3-2 at the hands of promoted Norwich City in a result that no one saw coming.

Kenny McLean headed the Canaries into an early lead, before Todd Cantwell put the home side in dreamland with a second goal.

A goal right on half-time from Sergio Aguero, to halve the deficit, looked like it would set City on the way to a comeback win, but a defensive error allowed Teemu Pukki to score after the break to restore the two-goal lead.

Try as City might, all they had to show for their second half efforts was a Rodri strike late in the game.

The result leaves City five points behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.

But for supporters in north London the focus was on where that leaves Arsenal and Spurs.

And the fans of both teams took great delight in City losing.

For Spurs fans it was a case of looking at an indifferent start to the season, and now being only two points behind City. While for Arsenal fans, i they watch their side beat Watford on Sunday, they would go level on points with City.
