Brisbane cabaret star Jessica Papst stars in the Melbourne premiere of Only The Good Die Young. She toasts the ghosts of rock’n’roll alongside composer and arranger Shanon Whitelock, who has won several cabaret festival awards. Jessica and the band reimagine the classic rock hits and tell the stories behind the artists’ demises. It’s powerful, surprising and a great tribute to those taken too soon to “the great big band in the sky”.
